About watertown-mayer education foundation
We are an independent, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to gathering resources to enhance and enrich the educational experiences within the Watertown-Mayer Public School District.
The purpose of the Watertown-Mayer Education Foundation is to enhance the Watertown-Mayer School District's ability to deliver excellence in education for all students and to promote community understanding and support for public education. We will advance our mission by providing:
Financial support for existing or new educational programs and/or services from gifts received from our revenue base
Academic scholarships for Watertown-Mayer High School graduates enrolling in accredited higher education programs in a non-discriminatory manner
Instructional grants to Watertown-Mayer employees for the improvement of instructional strategies and/or staff development activities for district employees
Community outreach programs to increase community member awareness and support for Watertown-Mayer schools
Grants for co-curricular activities to increase diversity and visibility as well as support the economically disadvantaged
The Watertown-Mayer Education Foundation depends on community donations to fund programs and initiatives that serve children from birth through age 21 in the Watertown-Mayer Public Schools system, as well as scholarships for higher education.
Support for the foundation comes entirely through community contributions, including:
